This is a transcript style of interview with Jason Johnson- Sales Rep for Killshots

Where are you from?

Sacramento, CA

Who introduced you to the game and how long have you been playing?

A friend from Pool Robert Plunk, I have been playing now for about a year and a half.

What would you say is your biggest accomplishment in the sport?

I have recently started to finish at the top of some of my tournaments so far that’s been big for me.

What is the name of your home club? Do they have a club page or website?

I travel between a few clubs locally. But my True Home Club is West Sac Cornhole and the rest of the SACA alliance.

What bag did you start with?

My first bags were Ultra Vipers, the series just before they got the stamps.

What is your current favorite bag? Design or release/generation.

My Current favorite bag is the new P90’s my rep ones are all I throw any more it feels like.

Besides yourself, who is your favorite player? Who is your favorite pro? Favorite team?

Cheyenne Renner because I don’t think there’s much she can’t do. A local guy who just became a pro Lightskin is my favorite player I actually know. But I am also a huge A’s fan.

What made you want to become a rep?

Actually fell into it but I love it now that I have become one because it allows me to help people get great bags!

How many sets would you say you have sold?

I have only been a rep now for about 3 months but so far, I have sold about 50 sets or so?

What other activities do you do for fun?

I play a lot of pool and I play with kids and wife a lot doing whatever they want to do.

What do you do for a living?

For a living I work for Microsoft Office 365 Small Business Support as a Middle Management guy who trains and helps people do there job.

Do you have any ambition to qualify as a pro?

Yeah maybe in a 2 years or so

How confident are you about qualifying?

I think if I keep working hard I could have a chance.

What is one piece of advice you would give new players to the sport?

To keep throwing, throw a 100 bags off the board to get 1 on to start. Then build forward from there. But keep on throwing and never give up.

And last but not least- do you have a mantra that you live by or quote that defines you?

I am a big fan of just go with it and take each day as it comes and live each as much as possible. So go live life and have some fun!
